Chief Administrative Officer at Honolulu

Job Description

Large local non-profit seeking executive to join rapidly growing team in a progressive healthcare oriented organization.


 

The newly created position of CAO will hold multiple responsibilities.  This person will ultimately be in charge of a new administrative department whose main focus is dedicated to board and lobbying efforts.  Extensive administrative, interpersonal and legislative know how will be utilized on a day to day basis in addition to staff management.

Job Requirements

 

  • Past Experience as an Executive Director or similar
  • Lobbyist background required
  • Proven track record of leading a team
  • Enhanced communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Hawaii government
  • Substantial experience in board relations
  • Strong Hawaii network
  • Superior ability to multitask and deal with fast, changing deadlines
  • A consistently mature and professional demeanor
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college, higher education preferred
  • Supervisory experience required  
  • IT knowledge a PLUS
  • Non-profit knowledge a PLUS
