Theres an excellent opportunity in Kansas City for a Power Delivery Department Manager to manage a team of engineers and designers who are involved in design of substation, transmission and distribution projects.  (Theres also a similar opportunity available in Fayetteville, AR.)

Responsibilities include workload planning, goal evaluation, quality control, staff supervision, training, recruiting, employee relations, business development support and proposal presentation.

Job Requirements

Power Delivery Department Manager should have at least 15 years of progressive experience in the power industry, specifically transmission, distribution and substations.  Consulting engineering design experience is a plus. 

 

Candidate must have a Professional Engineer’s (PE) license and a BS in engineering.

 

Power Delivery Department Manager should have at least 3 years supervisory or leadership experience.

 

Candidate should have a strong interest in the Midwest--Missouri, Kansas or Arkansas.

 

Power Delivery Department Manager must have a good technical understanding of quality standards and the ability to manager administrative responsibilities. 

 

Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and good oral and written communications skills.  Stable employment record and good references are desired. 

Recent graduates, contract engineers and engineers requiring sponsorship need not apply.
