Part Time Supervisor

RETAIL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Part-time Supervisor, Non-Exempt / Hourly

Job Duties and Requirements include: In partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, drive an effective selling culture within the store location by building the team, building sales capability and building the brand.

• Assume responsibility for the store and its success in partnership with Store Manager and Assistant Manager by driving an effective customer-focused selling culture by building the team, sales capability and the brand.

• Establishing and maintain store standards through leadership and operational expertise.

• Endorsing company initiatives and programs through presentation of features and benefits.

Build Talent

Build and maintain a successful team through effective recruiting, hiring, consistent leadership, and communication across the business. Develop a store succession plan through networking, recruiting, individual and team development.

Build Sales Capability

Effectively analyze the business, drive and execute company and store initiatives according to established timelines and standards and strive for operational excellence. Obtain key metric results through managing effectively and recognizing people.

Build Brand

Maintain a strong and genuine customer focus. Merchandise to company standards and to the needs of the business with reactionary merchandising.

Job Requirements

Part Time Supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Physical and Other Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required. (College degree preferred)

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills

• Demonstrated customer service and selling skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team and leadership

• Retail/specialty apparel knowledge and experience to include reactionary merchandising and marketing implementation

• Systems expertise to include Point of Sales systems, timekeeping, payroll, MSWord, Excel, Outlook and Intranet

• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and shift priorities effectively

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb up/down ladders and lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis

• Flexible availability seven days a week, 8 hour shifts and up to 40 hours per week
