Overview:The Holiday Restaurant Dishwasher Associate is responsible to clean and maintain an adequate supply of dishware, cookware and utensils in one of our Macys restaurants.In order to present our customers with the best holiday shopping experience, many of our Holiday Restaurant Dishwasher Associates arrive prior to store opening and remain after closing to ensure we are ready to make Macys magic. Holiday associates will have the opportunity to work a flexible schedule on a temporary basis, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and busy events such as the day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas. And dont forget - just in time for holiday shopping, you will receive an employee discount of up to 20% starting your first day!Essential Functions:- Follow Food Division Best Practices.- Wash and distribute dishes, cookware and utensils.- Monitor and maintain sanitation supply levels and machine performance in accordance with Health Department Standards.- Perform daily cleaning tasks assigned by supervisor, and dispose of trash .- Follow station specific duties and responsibilities.- Open and/or close area by following the appropriate checklist; verify completion with Manager on Duty.- Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with Food Division and Health Department standards.- Maintain safe work area at all times.- Assist other associates to ensure all kitchen duties are completed and customer service standards are maintained.- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:- Ability to follow directions.- Ability to work with standard kitchen equipment in efficient and safe manner.- Ability to follow safe work practices in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to work as part of a team, or individually with little supervision.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work in a food production area.Macys is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.foodsculinaryarts
