Systems Administrator - Clearance

Job Classification: Direct Hire

TEKsystems is seeking a Systems Administrator for one of the premier clients in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have experience in DoD environments with a final Secret Clearance.
The Systems Administrator shall provide the following support services in a Windows operating environment:
-Plan and schedule installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software
-Install rack mounted servers and workstations, replace operating systems with Windows 2008 and Windows 7
-Assist in deployment and migration to Microsoft SharePoint 2010
-Deploy Windows based COTS products such as BMC Service Desk Express and RSA Archer
-Complete STIG validations; ensure vulnerabilities are accounted for in VMS.
-Develop appropriate build documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for newly deployed operating systems and applications
-Implement security procedures and tools
-Update configuration management documents
-Work closely with HBSS team to ensure proper configuration and operational capability of systems
-Work with Microsoft Enterprise Premier Support as required.
-Assist in deployment of NIPRNET and SIPRNET Public Key Infrastructure services
-Apply information security/information assurance policies, principles and practices in the delivery of systems administration services.
-Analyze manual processes and make recommendations for process and automation improvements.

Qualifications
-8 + years Systems Administration experience, preferably in a DoD environment
-Experience planning and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, to include operating in a Virtual environment.
-Experience deploying Service Desk Express and Archer.
-Experience and ability training technical and non-technical personnel
-MCSE Certification
-Security + Certification
-4 year degree preferred may be substituted for 4 years work experience.
