Senior Accountant at Honolulu

Job Description

Classification: Accountant - Senior

Compensation: $42,545.99 to $52,000.00 per year

Downtown Honolulu company looking for an Accountant who has previous retail accounting experience. The Accountant will prepare journal entries, month and year-end closings, oversee bank reconciliations and also prepare month-end billings. This role also oversees the retail accounting necessities for the company, including reconciliations and cash management and disbursements. Prior experience with retail accounting is required for consideration, including aspects of inventory. This role will work independently but is overseen by the company Controller. The ideal Accountant will have a degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 5+ years of accounting experience. Prior knowledge of QuickBooks is also preferred.
