Partner Manager (Hawaii) Partner ManagerBasic FunctionsThe Partner Manager identifies and signs professional affiliates in order to expand the Partner Affiliate Channel in Hawaii. The responsibilities of the Partner Manager include initiating relationships with business owners, generating their own contacts. The Partner Manager will research and attend networking events, and sign and manage signed partners.Responsibilities Initiate business to business sales relationships; develop creative ways to partner with companies. Ability to identify and market to prospective affiliates. Calling business owners and pitching the Partner Affiliation Channel program. Getting the business owners to sign up as a partner Create and execute sales pitch to all prospective affiliates. Managing the partners on a daily basis to generate activity and support overall experience, ensuring excellent support and overall experience. Train, mentor and manage the partnership team to ensure company and event goals are met. Generate their own business, get involved in associations, and attend networking events etc. Actively use company systems to manage projects, i.e. Salesforce.com, CRM system. Oversee success metrics, tracking and reporting of sponsor acquisition efforts, including project report, and multi-team communication.Skills, Abilities and Qualifications College or university degree in Business or Marketing preferred or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum 3+ yrs. outside sales experience with a focus on business development. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Clean DMV driving record (example, no DUI in the last 5 years) Must be willing to work evenings and weekends to contact prospective customers. Strong spoken and written communication skills; comfortable giving presentations. Enthusiasm for developing business and interacting with a variety of people. This position requires tact, adaptability, confidence and professionalism. Strong client relationship management, sales and customer service skills, with the ability to inform and persuade people. Proven ability to lead and manage large and simultaneous projects, defining and implementing goals while maintaining scope, budget and schedule. Ability to initiate and negotiate high value contracts to help meet event and company revenue goals. Ability to maintain a professional attitude and work independently with little guidance in a fast paced, changing environment. Proficiency in cloud software applications (Salesforce.com/CRM systems, Quick base, Google Docs, etc.) proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Must be willing to work evenings and weekends to contact prospective customers. Strong spoken and written communication skills; comfortable giving presentations. Enthusiasm for developing business and interacting with a variety of people. Must be a self-starter who is able to drive self towards goals. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly sales numbers. Strong track record of achievement as evidenced by sales awards, or growing a market, etc. All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.Specialized knowledge: MUST HAVE Solar industry and product knowledge.
