Manages and oversees customer service staff for incoming Japanese customers. Plans, coordinates, enforces and monitors section goals and objectives. Establishes and maintains a viable communication network within department, all managers and business partners to ensure smooth operations. Receives and solves customer service problems and complaints through satisfactory resolution. Initiates action pertaining to personnel, including hiring, promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary measures. Trains, evaluates performance, rewards and disciplines assistant managers, supervisors and staff. Studies, forecasts, and analyzes market to strategically direct to increase profitability.
RequirementsMust speak Japanese & English fluently. Prefer ability to speak, read and write Japanese. Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in the hospitality industry and 3 years as a supervisor. Working knowledge of Hawaiis travel industry, excellent communication skills, knowledge of budget review and projections. Working knowledge of computers, office equipment and good math skills. College degree, valid drivers license and clean abstract.
