Production (Fine Jewelry) Supervisor

 

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

 

• Interpret, apply and/or enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations and safety rules in support of achieving departmental and corporate goals for safety, quality and productivity
• Supervise the activities and personnel engaged in processing raw materials, (jewelry components), and electroplating departments
• Lead production employees in continuous improvement activities including conducting performance evaluations.
• Develop, direct, manage and train personnel to properly utilize all available tools
• Direct personnel to maintain product quality and meet customer requirement and expectations
• Must have good close up vision and an eye for color. 

 

Salary commensurate with experience.

 Requirements

 

Production Supervisor Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years previous leadership or supervisory experience preferably in a Manufacturing or Production environment; experience in finishing/assembly of jewelry components a plus
• Ability to maintain the technical and managerial skills required to effectively administer and oversee the production process.
• Superior team leadership, communication skills (both written and verbal) and good manual dexterity.
