JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Member Outreach Specialist for the psychotropic drug intervention program (PDIP) is responsible for:
- Administrative support for the psychotropic drug intervention program (PDIP) and other administrative support duties within the clinical department as assigned.
- Enrolling and managing plan members into our targeted outreach programs in order to increase the quality of care with their prescribed drug regimen and mental health care.
Job Requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Learning and memorizing call scripts for outreach calls
b) Performing member reminder calls and facilitating member mailings if necessary
c) Provide clear documentation/outreach to ensure Beacon is meeting its standards
d) Perform outreach calls and enroll plan members into the HEDIS Program
EDUCATION
Associates Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
Health care customer service experience preferred
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database programs required
Ability to work flexible hours on an as needed basis
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
None
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Weekly or as needed by PDIP Team Lead
WORKING CONDITION:
General office environment
