Network Operations & Security Center (NOSC) Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Remote Access Services (RAS) Problem Identification and Management. Ten or more (10+) years of experience in network and transport service management, with project management and customer service training or experience. Plans, manages and supervises LAN/BAN/WAN problem identification and management analysis, assessment, and remedial action development. Mentors subordinates in developing knowledge of and skill with Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) layers 2 through 4, and of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) problem identification and management. Supervises and manages network assessment tools and processes. Evaluates potential problem impact on new or expanded network capabilities. Designs and supervises implementation of new problem resolution tools and processes. Develops and manages implementation of problem management continual improvement processes. Develops recommendations for improving network problem remediation. Leads the planning and execution of special projects.
