As a High Voltage Electrician Leader, you will perform (but notlimited to) the following duties:
Serves as a leader of three or more employees. Assigns work and checks work for complianceto ensure deadlines are met.
Installing, modifying, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting,testing and loading new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems andassociated fixtures, controls, fire and control equipment and equipmentinvolving electrical theory, instruments, equipment and technical practices,and ability to use electrical drawings, use and maintain electrical tools andtroubleshoot.
Working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams,engineering, drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals to planand lay out the routing, placement type, size, gauge, balance, load,continuity, and safe operations of electrical lines, circuits, systems,equipment and controls.

PHYSICAL EFFORT: Workinvolves standing, climbing, bending, crouching, and occasionally working incramped and awkward positions. Works atground level and from ladders, scaffolding, platforms, man lifts, buckettrucks, and aerial truck lifts where parts of systems worked on are in hard toreach places. Frequently sets up parts andequipment that weigh up to 40 pounds and occasionally heavier. Weight handlingequipment is available when handling large units.
WORKING CONDITIONS: May work on different shift schedules. Work is performed both in and out doors wherethere is regular exposure to dirt, dust, grease, noise, and bad weather. There is also exposure to the possibility ofcuts, bruises, electrical shock, and burns. Protective devices such as but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses,respirators, gloves, hard hat, and safety shoes are required.
