Job Description

The Recruiter is involved with ensuring an applicant pool rich in quality, quantity & diversity in order to identify and hire the best-qualified candidate(s) (from within or outside of an organization) for job vacancies, in a timely and cost effective manner.

 

 

  • Engages traditional recruitment efforts to ensure an ample supply of candidates for all openings.
  • Aggressively & creatively sources qualified candidates for all career opportunities.
  • Networks with various community & recruitment partners.
  • Brands Diamond Resorts International as an employer of choice.
  • Reviews applications and resumes verifying qualifications.
  • Completes preliminary interviews for identified positions.
  • Tracks, records and analyzes recruitment related statistics.
  • Conducts research related to best practice, potential partnerships and future events.
  • Reviews business activities indentifying business closures, reduction in staff, etc.
  • Identifies, coordinates and attends various recruitment related events.
  • Generates & distributes weekly job opening report to recruitment partners.
  • Generates & distributes weekly recruitment reports to DRI business partners.
  • Partners with internal resources to create advertisements, brochures and other related marketing items.
  • Manages the master recruitment calendar of events.
  • Attends meetings with operational & recruitment partners.
  • Respond to e-mail and phone inquires & requests.
  • Other duties/functions as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • At least 3 years Human Resources experience.
  • At least 2 years Recruitment experience.
  • At least one year of project management experience.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Proven ability to develop a recruitment action plans to ensure quality, quantity & diversity.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent document formatting & design skills.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and have the ability to learn additional software.
  • Detail oriented-must be able to provide a high level of accuracy.
  • Professional presentation and appearance.
  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

 

 

Preferred:

  • Experience working in the hospitality, vacation ownership or timeshare industry.
  • College degree in a related field.
  • Ability to communicate in other languages.
  • Existing recruitment network.
