Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children is well recognized as Hawaiis leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 207 beds and 66 bassinets, the nonprofit hospital is Hawaiis only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is also a tertiary care, medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency care, neonatal and pediatric air transport and childrens specialty clinics. With a dedicated team of more than 1,300 employees and 604 physicians, the hospital is home to Kapiolani Womens Center, Kapiolani Breast Center and Kapiolani Womens Cancer Center, the states only dedicated breast health and gynecological cancer centers. Kapiolani offers numerous community programs and services, such as the Kapiolani Child Protection Center and Sex Abuse Treatment Center, and through our affiliation with the University of Hawaii, we are home to the John A. Burns School of Medicine Pediatrics and OB/GYN residency programs.
The Family Birth Center at Kapiolani is dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive and family-centered obstetrical care, specializing in high-risk and high-volume labor and delivery. This department is composed of the Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum and Nursery units and provides tertiary, level III perinatal services as well as obstetrical care for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients. The team of professional staff at the Family Birth Center supports and educates patients and families to facilitate the optimal health of both mothers and newborns. Kapiolani is recognized as Hawaiis leader in the care of women and children and the major teaching hospital for the states OB/GYN programs.
If you have exceptional organizational and people management skills, you could be the ideal person for our Clinical Services Supervisor position, where you will manage staff, oversee daily operations and ensure quality patient care at Kapiolanis Family Birth Center. We are looking for someone with demonstrated interpersonal and leadership talent, the ability to create a collaborative work environment, and a commitment to helping us deliver the highest quality health care to Hawaiis people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Three (3) years recent acute care registered nurse experience in Neonatal Care. One (1) year recent registered charge nurse or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or related field. Current national certification in Neonatal Care. Three (3) years recent registered nurse experience in high risk obstetrics. Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification CPR cards.
