Bilingual (Japanese) Human Resources Compliance Officer at Honolulu

Job Description

Job is located in Reynoldsburg, OH.

Position summary: Responsible for coordinating and reporting on all matters related to Human Resources compliance such as Corporate Governance, EEOC, OCRC, JSOX, Immigration and other legal or regulatory matters.  Responsible for leading and coordinating and assisting with internal and external audits (ISO 9001, QCD, etc.) Research and develop corporate Human Resources Policies.  Provide guidance to sister company Human Resource departments in these areas.


Primary Position responsibilities:

   

v  Manage Corporate Governance claim process and coordinate annual compliance survey.

v  Coordinate with legal representation on legal claims.

v  Provide HR generalist support

v  Manage, coordinate and assist internal and external compliance audits (J-Sox, Corporate Governance, ISO, etc.)

v  Research and propose corporate HR policies

v  Oversee Facility Management activities

v  Support Group Companies as needed (Corporate Governance, etc.)

v  Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Essential skills and experience:  

v  5+ years experience in a similar role

v  Advanced skills in Microsoft office products

v  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

v  PHR certification preferred

v  Proven associate relations skills

v  Advanced knowledge of employment laws

Qualifications:        
v  BS Degree in Business, Human Resources, Employment Law or equivalent work experience.
v  5-10 years Legal or Human Resources experience.
v  Fluent in Japanese
