Founded in 1938, Wilcox Memorial Hospital is the largest medical facility on Kauai and has been recognized as one of the nations best rural hospitals. With 169 physicians on staff, Wilcox Memorial provides residents and visitors with expert diagnosis and treatment for more than 20 specialties. Its state-of-the-art acute care facility includes a full suite of services from emergency, OB/GYN and pediatrics to cardiology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, pulmonology, nephrology, cosmetic surgery, internal medicine and family practice. In 2010, the Wilcox Health Womens Center opened to provide preventive and diagnostic care for Kauais women close to home. The hospital has 71 beds, including seven intensive care beds, five birthing suites, 20 same-day surgery beds and a 20-bed emergency department. It is equipped with MRI and CT scanners and a state-of-the-art surgical center with six surgical suites. In 2010, the American Heart Association recognized Wilcox Memorial in three areas of excellence: Coronary Artery Disease (Gold Award), Stroke (Silver Award) and Heart Failure (Silver Award.) Wilcox Memorial Hospital, together with Kauai Medical Clinic and the Wilcox Health Foundation, is affiliated with Hawaii Pacific Health, the states largest health care provider.

Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Wilcox facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Wilcox facilities and administrative offices.

If you are extremely organized and detail-oriented, you can help to uphold Wilcoxs financial and operational excellence as a Business System Analyst. In this role, you will provide application support to different departments and act as the key liaison between the business community, vendors and the IT department. We are looking for someone with excellent business and communications skills, an appreciation for information management protocol and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawaiis people.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. One (1) year of experience in functional analysis, system design and/or business applications. Valid drivers license and abstract. Current Hawaii auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting information systems. Experience in analyzing workflow and implementing changes in workflow.
