Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawaii Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawaii Pacific Healths numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our EMR Inpatient team is responsible for support and maintenance of electronic medical records for inpatient hospitals.
As the Pharmacy Business Systems Analyst, you will be the key liaison between the business community, vendors and the Information Technology department. In this role, you will provide application support to the Pharmacy department and research emerging technologies, pharmacy clinical regulations, pharmacy billing regulations and possible application to the Hawaii Pacific Health business operations. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational, technical and business skills, an appreciation for fiscal management and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawaiis people.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (Pharm D) and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Licensed Pharmacist (R.PH).One (1) year of clinical work experience in a pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting. Experience with personal computers. Valid drivers license and abstract. Current Hawaii auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting information systems. Experience in analyzing workflow and implementing changes in workflow. Experience with EpicRX and Pyxis.
