Employment AssistantDepartment: Human Resources 
Summary of Responsibilities:
Conducts post-offer background checks on job applicants.
 
Essential Functions:
* Verifies previous employment for applicants who are offered positions with the Company. Personal references are called if the applicant has no prior work experience.
* Checks federal, state and sex offender criminal conviction records online.
* Verifies eligibility for rehire for applicants who previously worked for the company.
* Orders drug testing kits and distributes them to the Area Managers.
* Informs the Restaurant General Manager whether or not the applicant may be hired. Generates Efficient Hire accounts for on-boarding process.
* Prepares monthly spreadsheets with background check and drug testing statistics.
* Collects automobile registration, safety check, insurance and drivers license from managers and office employees on an annual basis.
 
Other Functions:
* Assists other HR positions as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

* Minimal hazards. General office working conditions.

Job Requirements

Required Experience:
* One year of office experience preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Competent in Word and Excel. Detail oriented.
 
Educational Requirements:
* Bachelors degree preferred.
