Our services at the Kaneohe, Urgent Access include: diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury for infants, children, adolescents and adults; periodic physical examinations for children and adults; complete obstetrics/gynecology and family planning services; lab testing and on-site X-ray; dietary and health education counseling and mammography.

As a Medical Assistant in our Kaneohe, Urgent Access department, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide our recognized compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities at Straub Kaneohe. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawaiis people.

Minimum Qualifications:Graduate of a medical assistant program and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA). Six (6) months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology (CPT) and/or International Classification of Disease, 9th edition (ICD-9) Coding. Experience with online medical software systems.
