CANDIDATESMUST LIVE IN OR NEAR KAPOLEI, HIJob Overview:Provide 2nd level support to the Network Engineering, Aulani department by analysis, diagnostics and problem resolution. Possesses the ability to identify problem areas, to determine cause and alternative solutions. A team player, willing to assist in training and development of other Analysts in the department.Responsibilities: Acts as a senior focal point (2nd level) for problem management and resolution in the support of the Network Engineering, Aulani department. Solves those problems not resolvable by other Analysts. Understands Cisco VoIP (CUCM, Unity, UCCX, CER, etc.), Understands dial plans, voice mail, ACD queues, Emergency Responder, etc. Experience with Cisco and Cetis VoIP phones Understands switching, routing, QoS and how they affect voice traffic and call quality. Experience upgrading CUCM servers from one version to another. Keeps abreast of changes in technology currently deployed in the Regional/Global backbone network. Provides support and training to other team members as needed. Willing to help support the Cisco switches, routers and Wireless network. Act as 1/3 of the on-call rotation as part of a 3 person team. All other duties as assigned.Requirements: 4-year college degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Mathematics or 4 years progressive VoIP communications experience. 3 to 4 years network/VoIP administration, installation and evaluation. Knowledge and understanding of all types of LAN environments (10/100/1000 switched Ethernet, large layer 2 and layer 3 networks). Working experience in multi-platform computer/network environment. Cisco CCNA/CCVP preferred. Demonstrated ability to test, configure and install operating software in Cisco routers and switches and CUCM platform. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve system and communications outages.
