Cash Operations Manager at Honolulu

Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the central vault and managing the bank’s cash operations by maintaining an adequate level of reserve cash and coin in appropriate denominations, determining seasonal adjustments and anticipating cash needs, reviewing inventories, logs, and reports for all transactions involving all currency, coins, official checks, forms and Bank assets.  Also responsible to coordinate the purchase and shipments of currency and coins from Federal Reserve Bank and other financial institutions.

Job Requirements

High school diploma and 5-10 years of banking experience, preferably in operations.  Effective mathematical skills and 10-key by touch.  Ability to meet physical requirements of packing and handling bundles of currency and bags of coins. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong interpersonal relationship-building skills with external and internal customers.  Proficiency in Word and Excel.
