Inbound Customer Service Rep at Honolulu

Job Description

Inbound Customer Service Rep

8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Pay: $9.50 to $10.00 per hour

Assist providers and members with inquiries (e.g., provider eligibility, membership card requests, etc.), resolve issues and identify trends. Excellent listening, analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Call center experience and customer service experience are required.

Job Duties:

  • Communicates with the customer to help them understand proper use of medical insurance

  • Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.

  • Handles customer problems related to medical insurance or coverages.

  • Researches and resolves customers disputes and problems within established guidelines.

  • Strives to resolve customer issues on the first call without having to transfer callers.

  • Utilizes computer/on-line guidelines in responding to customer inquiries.

  • Job Requirements

    • HS/GED

    • 6 months to 1 year experience

    Skills:

    • Call Center

    • Customer Service

    • Data Entry

    • Math

    • Spelling

    • Typing (38+ WPM)
