Job Description

The Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) Loan Manager is responsible for directing, organizing, and planning all activities of the HELOC Lending area, with a focus on managing loan underwriters and processors, the credit approval process, ensuring an excellent external customer experience, complying with underwriting policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, and assisting with loan portfolio risk mitigation.    

Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4 year university, preferably in business, finance, or a related field.

Job Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Consumer Lending area including processing of home equity lines of credit.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in management of 3 or more individuals, preferably in the consumer lending underwriting area which includes the processing and underwriting of home equity lines of credit.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal, listening, and communication skills.
Effectively plan and organize work.
Able to communicate clearly with co-workers and work effectively as a team player.
Requires use of independent judgment and time management skills.
Proficient in the use of the PC, MS Office, and familiarity with loan origination and software systems.
