Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (Airline) at Honolulu

Position Title: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Purpose: Manage financial analysis function to drive optimal financial decisions across the organization

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Reports to: CFO

Primary Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop annual capital, operating and cash flow budgets
• Monitor and reports monthly operating expense and variance explanations against budget
• Monitor and reports capital spending against budget
• Assist management in the preparation and analysis of capital requests
• Produce route profitability reporting and related analysis
• Develop business cases and scenario models to drive better business decisions
• Prepare ad hoc analyses as required to support management and business objectives
• Develop recommendations for management based on analysis findings
• Analyze and interpret financial data for use in management decisions
• Develop advanced financial models and conduct analysis using a broad range of quantitative tools and techniques
• Drive process improvements and innovations

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• MBA degree, a concentration in Finance preferred
• Minimum 3 years airline experience
• Minimum 5 years Finance and/or Accounting experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience with budget tracking, variance reporting and cost analysis
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office products required (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Experience with project management software packages preferred (MS Project)
• Ability to build and make presentations to senior management
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
