NGEN Network Service Delivery Rep Mid Direct Labor at Pearl Harbor

Five to nine (5-9) years experience in network and transport service management. Installs, maintains, and services IP network and transport service hardware and software under limited supervision. Demonstrates knowledge of and skill with Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) layers 2 through 4, and of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) incident, problem, change, and availability management. Evaluates and responds to configuration change requests for new or expanded network and transport services. Creates new and modifies existing network interfaces, and implements and maintains network designs. Applies firmware and software updates to network and transport components. Evaluates and responds to incident reports by troubleshooting, repairing, and/or reconfiguring network and transport services. Monitors, collects measurement data, and reports on service level attainment. Monitors and enforces network and transport service security, integrity and business continuity controls. Supports planning and execution of special network and transport service projects. *** This position requires network security and information assurance experience and the ability to complete CISSP certification within first 6 months in order to augment positions at the Maritime Operations Center (MOC). Occasional shift work will be required. ***
