Network Operations & Security Center (NOSC) Local Area Network (LAN), Base Area Network (BAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Remote Access Services (RAS) Network Incident Management Lead. Five to nine (5-9) years experience in network and transport service management. Under limited supervision, leads and manages the day-to-day activities of IP network and transport service incident management. Demonstrates knowledge of and skill with Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) layers 2 through 4, and of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) incident, problem, change, and availability management. Evaluates and responds to incident reports for network and transport services. Troubleshoots, repairs, and/or reconfigures network services in response to incident reports. Applies firmware and software updates to network and transport components. Monitors, collects measurement data, and reports on service level attainment. Monitors and enforces network and transport service security, integrity and business continuity controls. Supports planning and execution of special network and transport service projects.
