Retail Area DirectorSummary: Crazy Shirts’ purpose is to create original and memorable artwork on quality products that take our customers on the endless vacation in everyday life. The Retail Area Director supports this purpose by managing retail operations in a specific geographic area to maximize sales and to meet area and company goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Motivates and leads Area Manager and Store Manager team to maximize sales, customer service and store/company image.
- Analyze sales and location/market trends to create recommendations on improving sales.
- Implements and evaluates company initiatives related to retail area operations.
- Manages overall retail standards, retail operational procedures, and company policy within area.
- Manages retail management staffing levels and provides continuous and on-going training and development for retail management team.
- Responsible for articulating and executing the Crazy Shirts vision and strategy to the area/regional teams.
- Drive regional performance through focusing on sales, key performance indicators and profitable sales through in-depth review of Profit & Loss statements.
- Analyze expenses, sales figures and forecasting to ensure maximization of sales and profit while meeting the companys budgeted expenses.
- Maximize productivity and profitability in each area in compliance with Company procedures by maintaining and controlling the operational standards including Loss Prevention Policies, Inventory, payroll budgets and Human Resources Policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:- 5+ years multi-store (Area, District or Regional) specialty retail management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel required (includes air and automobile travel).
- PC experience required including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective planning, organizational abilities and superior detail-orientation.
- Superior problem-solving, reasoning and conflict management skills.
- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
- Moving and standing
- Sitting for long periods of time
