Standalone Benefit- External Lead at Honolulu

Job Description

Job Classification: Direct Hire The Standalone benefit team is primarily accountable for developing a new benefit administrative service offering and team to support client-sponsored plans in an ACA environment. The service and team will launch and operate as an entrepreneurial startup.- Develop and manage the team and processes to deliver benefits administration for client-sponsored (standalone) planDuties:- Product Development: Own product definition/scope, including tiers of service (deduction only Vs full service); Serve as the broker of record on standalone benefit plans- Partner Management; Own the Hawaii Health Connector relationship, ensuring company is participating broker; Maintain Hawaii Life/Health producer licensure; Manage ongoing operational escalations related to partner issues/opportunities; Develop and strengthen partner relationships in conjunction with the PHS executive team- Client Engagement: Serve as an escalation point to resolve client service related issues; Be consultative to clients considering a transition to the standalone benefit product; work with sales to integrate the standalone benefits product into the sales processQualifications:- Comfortable operating in an environment of uncertainty and possess the ability to quickly adjust to rapidly evolving and changing needs- Strong desire and comfort with launching a new service- Posses a deep understanding of employer-sponsored benefits and associated state and federal regulations- Understand key components of the Affordable Care Act- Proven team management track record- Strong verbal and written communication/customer service skills- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills- Drive to succeed- Posses the ability to work independently and as a contributing team member- Exhibit good judgment, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality- Experience with PEO/HRO firm highly desired- Hawaii state life and health producer license preferred.All qualified candidates please submit resume Join Aerotek Professional Services®.
