Job Description
As Executive Secretary of the our Healthcare System the Executive Assistant provides secretarial support to the Board of Directors of the St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii and all other Boards of Directors. Uses initiative and independent judgment in assuming responsibility for routine matters involving the Boards. Functions as the corporate secretary.
As directed by the President & CEO, is responsible for providing administrative assistance to support goals of, and services
provided by, tAssists in the development of evaluation forms for the Performance Evaluation of the CEO and Self-Evaluation of the Board of Directors of SFHS and subsidiaries. Collates and summarizes results of same for the Chair of the Evaluation Committee.

High school, plus additional courses or specialized training at business or community college, or other formal training facility or program. Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively. Knowledge needed such as stenography, office routines, elementary accounting procedures; operation of equipment such as bookkeeping and billing machines, tabulating equipment, transcription
Able to take dictation and transcribe minutes.
Competent use of typewriter and computer.
Able to operate office machines such as facsimile machine, copier.
