Positions do require minimal experience and must able topass all background checks – criminal and drug screening.

 

Job Requirements

Positions duties include:

· Work will be at the Hawaii Convention Center –working to assist the cleanliness of the bathrooms, banquet rooms, offices, functions and events

· Work is on-call, and may include working nights and weekends. Schedule is flexible due to the needs of the operation.

· Must be able to meet the labor duties – standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.

· Able to understand and speak and communicate effectively in English.

· Must be able to follow directions, work with a team and provide the highest standard in customer service.

· Experience in Janitorial, housekeeping helpful. Also experience with cleaning equipment and machinery helpful – floor scrubber/waxer/buffer helpful.

· All applicants must be able to interview / start immediately.

Please note building is secured 24 hours, 7 days a week. Parking in the building is $10/per day and we do not validate. If you are walking to our office – please walk behind the Convention Center on Kalakaua Ave. Walk up the staircase, and walk along the Ala Wai path way until you reach the glass doors, labeled Security Check in to your right, Enter thru and check in with Security.
