Job Description

We are interviewing Nurse Practitioners to join our Healthy House Calls program in the Honolulu and surrounding areas of Hawaii.

As an independent contractor, you’ll enjoy:

• Flexibility - you set your schedule and territory

• No prescribing or treatment, simply performing assessments/evaluations

• Fixed payment per completed appointment; each visit takes approximately 45 minutes

As an independent medical professional, you will be required to:

• Complete training programs and be credentialed.

• Confirm in -home examination 48 hours before visit.

• Conduct the in-home examination.

• Complete our examination form.

• Briefly answer the member’s health-related questions.

• Complete an “Ask Your Doctor” worksheet.

• Leave the worksheet, a contact sheet, and small gift with the member.

• Return the signed examination form to EMSI.

• Participate in quality assurance sessions with peers.

EMSI will provide the following:

• Credentialing services, training programs and a brief orientation session.

• Fixed payment per visit (typical appointment lasts 45 minutes). Payment made weekly.

• Arrangement of appointments with Medicare members within a certain timeframe.

• Web tracking and scheduling tools to maximize your travel time.
