Senior Claims Examiner

Pay: Up to $75k DOE

Senior Claims Examiner will manage Workers Compensation claims involving time lost, permanent partial disability/disfigurement, medical and chiropractic issues. Investigate and evaluate claims to determine compensability. Issue indemnity and medical benefits. Arrange independent medical evaluation/permanent partial disability ratings.

Attend hearings at the Department of Labor regarding claims issues such as compensability, indemnity benefits, medical treatment and permanent disability. Negotiate and settled Workers Compensation claims. Prepare and submit claim status reports to brokers and employers. Attend claims reviews with the insured and agents. Develop additional office protocol and templates for claims management.

Job Requirements:

• Certification: Hawaii Independent Adjusters license

• 5-10 years experience
