Job Classification: Contract TEKsystems is in search of a Systems Engineer to work on-site, here in Hawaii. The ideal candidate should be familiar with application installation, configuration and setup, and have expertise in configuring commercial off the Shelf (COTS) products to work together in an integrated environment. Required Skills: -2+ years experience supporting COTS application software in a corporate environment -Familiar with common SDLC patterns, software development and business modeling of Web applications, Distributed Applications and other custom-built projects on Windows and Linux platforms -Strong Oracle SOA Suite knowledge -Networking/database/security knowledgeDesired Skills: -Advanced shell scripting skills (Informatica/ETL, Redhat Linux, Perl) -Familiarity with Object - oriented design/analysis, UML modeling, Classic design patterns, J2EE patterns. -Web development skills. Experience in N-tier Client-Server based Internet technology, intranet portal design/development; Web based data reporting system, Framework development for Internet application.
