Controller

Pay: pay up to $120k DOE plus bonus

Controller Job Description:

Direct all day-to-day technical and financial accounting activities and functions of company, including: timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, consolidation and closing processes, including reconciliation of various financial statement accounts.

Development and implementation of strengthened internal control and accounting policies and procedures (both systematic and user functional to ensure data integrity and safeguarding of assets), while minimizing manual effort to ensure compliance.

Responsible for managing all aspects of the annual external audit, including fieldwork, preparation and review of audited financial statements and facilitating audit status/update meetings.

Will be a key interface to the finance team.

Develop and implement accounting department structure and processes to increase the efficiency of the department while establishing/maintaining an effective internal control structure, with self-audit procedures that will ensure the consistent application of accounting policies

Other responsibilities and adhoc analysis as directed by management.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree Bachelors Degree in Accounting

Minimum 5 - 7 years in progressively responsible roles in a similar environment required.

Experience in a public company preferred.

Previous public accounting experience preferred.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant)

preferred.

SAP and Hyperion experience preferred.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products is required.

Possess integrity and a drive to deliver accounting and finance solutions which are based on best practices and effective use of resources.

Strong technical skills -Big 4- experience.

Skilled in effecting change and managing people through change.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree: Accounting
