Construction Manager (Construction / Management)Job Responsibilities
As our Construction Manager with a background in Construction, you will be responsible for large-scale wireless program deployment in a leadership capacity. This position typically manages 200-300 sites annually, depending on project and construction teams which typically consist of 5-10 personnel.

Additional responsibilities of the Construction Manager include:

• Ensuring sufficient sub-contractor resources are available at all times to meet build plan objectives
• Managing sub-contractor scope issues, quality issues, and change control processes
• Achieving measurable results and report against financial and non-financial performance metrics related to various construction activities
• Coaching and mentoring subordinates and assisting the Project Team to establish project plans, set project goals, evaluate the performance of the project team and make adjustments as needed
• Serving as the primary Internal Manager for all assigned construction activities
• Being a subject matter expert on all facets of the site construction process
• Understanding internal and external expectations related to schedule, cost, & quality
• Driving the construction team and sub-contractors to meet these objectives
• Maintaining an accurate status of all activities at all times
• Ensuring the project scope is clearly defined and understood by all internal and external personnel
• Establishing and maintain a pool of qualified sub-contractors

Job Requirements

Construction Manager (Construction / Management)Job Requirements
As our Construction Manager, you must have intimate knowledge of wireless construction methodologies and processes within the market, risk management mitigation and problem solving skills.

Additional requirements of the Manager include:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, a plus
• 3-5 years of construction management experience in the telecommunications field; Master Electrician certification/license, a plus
• Electrical Contractor License or previous experience as an electrician, preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and understanding of process
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of project budgeting and cost accounting
• Extensive experience with Network Upgrades and/or Overlays: CDMA,GSM, UMTS LTE, WiMAX, Generator Installations
